Rawhide Wrapped "Cherokee"
Trail Hawk -- Available

This trail hawk I've named the "Cherokee" model weighs 1 lb. 5 oz with blade cover. The head is S5 steel with a gun-blued finish. The head is 5 1/2 inches long and the cutting edge is 2 3/4 inches. The head has a flattened hammer poll for pounding. The flame-hardened hickory handle is 15 1/2 inches long, and is wrapped with buckskin and rawhide with brass tacks. The horse-hide blade cover is oiled with Neat's-foot oil, has a brain-tanned elk hide thong, and forged copper cone with brass bead and coyote fur drop for decoration.
