 #3   Forged-Guard Large Hunter
This integral-guard hunter has a cutting edge 3 ½ inches long, 4 3/8 to the handle, and 6 ¾ inches overall. The guard is forged-on with a widened finger pad. This saves you all the drilling and filing on a piece of brass. Just epoxy on a bone or antler and file down to the guard. It’s so hard your file will just skate over it. Then polish with wet-or-dry sandpaper down to 600 grit and you’ll have a functional period using knife. D2 steel at Rockwell 58-59.

 #6   Small Forged-Guard Hunter
Just like its larger brother this little hunter is 3 inches on the cutting edge, 3 and 13/16ths to the handle, and 6 ¼ inches overall. Since the guard is forged-on all you have to do is glue on an antler, file it down to the guard, and sand it out. It’s small, but I’ve used one to skin everything from raccoons to elk. D2 steel at Rockwell 58-59.

#13  Steel-Stone Dropped Point Hunter
I have a few of these left. It’s the traditional dropped-point hunter with a stone looking blade routed out of the original with a flex-shaft bur. Slap a couple of slab handles on with cutler’s rivets and you’ve got a unique hunter meant for use. Don’t worry about scratching a mirror finished stainless blade. Use this one hard. D2 at Rockwell 58-59.

#24  Bolstered Rasp Camp Knife NEW!!!
Finally, here's one of the new blades I've been working on. This large camp knife is cast of Dendritic D2 steel tempered to Rockwell 58-59. You won't find a tougher camp knife. Add slab handles, file down to the bolsters, finish with wet-or-dry sandpaper, and you are ready to go loping down small trees. Forged from a farrier's (blacksmith who shoes horses) rasp. Bolsters were pinned on the original. Comes in a blued-black patina, or with the tempering colors left on. Sand off the high spots for contrast. You can easily make a $250.00 custom knife with this blade. Then add a distinctive sheath and you have something to use, and be proud to pass on to the next generation. You won't find a blade like this available anywhere else. These are all custom ground.
