I finally have some primitive arrowheads available. I’m still testing, and trying to improve the molds, so these points are not perfect, but they are shootable. I’m trying a “shoulder” where the end of the shaft rests to give more surface to absorb shock and reduce shaft breakage when you hit a rock. I’m also trying little “ears” at the end of the tang to help reduce tip loss when you have to work an arrowhead out of a tree. I’d appreciate feedback.

 Ferroulithic Target 1

This little point is designed for precision primitive target shooting. It weighs 50 grains and the head part is only 3/8 inch long. It's main function is to protect the tip of your cedar, or wood arrow. These are cast of S5 shock resistant steel, actually recycled rock drill bits.

 Ferroulithic Field Point 2

Designed for field use, small game hunting, and 3D target shooting, this point weighs 100 grains. It is cast of S5 steel. The little "ears" at the end of the tang grip the wrapping and help the point stay on the shaft when you are working it out of a target or tree.

 Ferroulithic Small Game Point #1

Customers requested that I make a "stone looking" broadhead that could be pulled out of targets easily, but could also be used for hunting small game. This point weighs 100 grains. It is 2 inches long overall. Like all of these new points, there is a shoulder at the front of the tang where the arrow rests against three points instead of only one. This distributes the shock evenly across the end of a shaft when you strike a hard object, which helps to keep the shaft from splitting. These are made of S5 steel.  This one is great for hunting or archery trails. It is NOT legal For hunting deer.

Ferroulithic Small Game Point #2

This barbed point is suitable for small game hunting. It will not pull out of targets! And it's NOT legal for deer! The "lugs" on the tang help the head stay on a shaft when you have to work one out of a tree. These points have the shoulder to absorb shock and prevent splitting shafts if you hit a rock.

Ferroulithic "WAR ARROW" presentation point

This "War Arrow" point is a reproduction of an actual stone point, 2 inches long and 1 1/4 inch wide. They are most suitable for making decorative "wall hanger" arrows, or presentation arrow awards for events. Some customers have used copper or silver wire to make a loop for wearing on a thong as a necklace. If you haft one on a short shaft with one flattened side you can easily write the event on the arrow. Makes an inexpensive, yet personalized award. I'd suggest fletching with natural turkey or goose fletching for a more authentic look.
